Boyd's Farm

Home made and always Farm Fresh

Who we are

Boyd and his daughter, Jamie

Boyd has lived in the Rim Country his whole life. Worked out of state as a young man, but for the most part, he is a pioneer. He has always had a green thumb and can make anything grow and thrive! True to family and friends and is always a helping hand when needed! Boyd started selling his amazing peaches from his trees in Tonto Basin at the Payson Farmer’s Market in 2015. He has always loved canning and making jelly and jam, so he added this to his offering, including those peaches in a lot of the jams he makes! He is always experimenting with new flavors and flavor combinations. He and his family gather or grow over half the fruits used in all the jellies and jams made. He has 4 children who are grown and 15 grandchildren. Jamie helps him at the Market and is his online presence.  (Boyd is oldschool and still has a flip phone).

Jamie is a Certified Health Coach and her main goal is to show others that healthy can still taste amazing AND it's far from boring. She lost 55 lbs on a Health Program that she also coaches.  She's helped hundreds regain their health and vitality!

Boyd and his family are at the Payson Farmer’s market from the end of May through September. He also sells his fruit trees from his home in Tonto Basin. If you'd like to order trees,  please give him a call! 928-978-6081. You can order and arrange pick up!

FAQ

CAULIFLOWER CREATIONS:

Do the Cauliflower Crusts freeze well?

Yes! If you receive a 2 pack, put parchment or wax paper between so they don't stick together.  You don't want a ripped crust!  They go straight from the freezer to the oven and crisp up really well!

How do you prepare the crust?

Use as a wrap, OR place on a pizza sheet in a 400 degree oven for 5-8 minutes  (until crisp on edges). Remove from oven and top with your favorite toppings.  Place back in oven to melt toppings if desired!

Are the Cauliflower Creations Keto approved?

We don't "Keto", but these crusts can fit into a keto diet!

How long do the crusts last in the fridge?

I've had some last up to 2 weeks refrigerated.  If you're not going to use them within a week, we recommend freezing them!

JELLY/JAM AND BUTTERS:

How long does a Jam last in the fridge?

When not opened, the jars are sealed so they are shelf stable for years.  When opened, refrigerate and they will last for at least 3 months.  Different fruits will be different.  If sugar appears at the top, you can  scoop it off and eat the underneath.
